Suppose we are playing a team with less speed, specifically a D-Lineman that is not NFL caliber quickness. Is the center/QB exchange more likely to not have problems? Sure. So a good defense will pressure the offense into turning the ball over. And an offense is more confident against a less capable defense and performs better.
Against Utah, it seems that we try to focus a little extra mentally and NOT turn the ball over and then we press into turnovers. Because Utah has been good in football and basketball, basically dominating us, this pressure is hard to overcome.
Somehow, we have to relax against those guys.
