POLL: Good law or bad law? A patient is allowed to enter their own prescription
to an online pharmacy portal. The patient is NOT required to actually submit the signed RX, just the drug name, strength, dosage, and quantity and the name of the doctor.

The online pharmacy attempts to contact the doctor's office ONE time to verify that all prescription information is correct, valid and unexpired. If the pharmacy does not hear back from the doctor within 8 business hours, they are legally allowed to fill any RX that the patient has entered.
