Ordering online is not the issue IMO. It's the passive verification aspect that
really bothers eye doctors. The online vendor simply sends a fax or leaves a voicemail, waits 8 hours and then can fill anything that the patient enters.
Why would contact lens RX verification laws be different than any other medical RX when there is potential for harm to patient including the very serious risk of permanent vision loss?
