So what could go wrong with a patient ordering their own contacts? I'm curious.
If someone finds their vision off, they'd assume their perscription has changed and get an exam for a new one. If they have pain or redness with contacts, they'd seek advice from a doctor. I can't imagine someone who wears contacts and has pain with contacts would continue to wear them until blindness results. Wouldn't blindness be a result of continual abuse over months rather than a few days or weeks?
