Not necessarily. TCU was invited before that, but the timeline right before that

is a little hairy.

-July 2011- A&M met to discuss the Longhorn Network which would launch a month later. A&M decided it was too much and wanted to leave the conference

-August 31, 2011- A&M officially announces to leave the Big 12 to join the SEC, but the process was delayed because the Big 12 sought legal action if A&M left.

-Early Sept, 2011- SEC officially invites A&M dependent on Big 12 dropping all legal action

-Sept 25, 2011- SEC invite becomes official because of dropped charges, however the Big 12 had already been pursuing TCU

-October 6, 2011- Big 12 officially invites TCU

-October 28, 2011- The Big 12 officially invites WVU. They accepted the same day and the press conference hinted at the imminent departure of Missouri

-Nov 6, 2011- SEC announces it has added Missouri It doesn't take long at all
