the potential cost and I doubt that it will be a complete amnesty. And if it gets back to BYU that it was a false allegation (and it is proven to be false) I could see BYU stepping in in those incidents.

But I think the value of having an environment in which legit victims feel like they can come forward significantly outweighs the downside you and BostonBlue oppose so adamantly. But I should commend you on making a good, thoughtful post without being a jerk or terrible person. Not everyone has been so successful in their attempts.
