the most compelling reason Iowa State would vote for expansion was if a potential candidate(s) could compel all 10 current members to unanimously agree to extend the GOR. Is there any good enough reason or good enough candidate to compel Texas and Oklahoma to agree to a new/longer GOR? If not it sounds like Iowa State will not vote for any candidate. One has to assume this extension of the GOR was discussed and agreed upon by the presidents as part of the decision to proceed with expansion.
