Yes..Unfortunately..ANd Kstate is in same position..All these writers and media folks from ESPN and others are attached to the SEC and ESPN in some way and all they want to see is TX go to the BIG or PAC and OU go to the SEC. The problem is not a single one of them can provide one good reason for TX and OU to give up controlling their conference..not one. TX in 2024 will make $60 million in TV revenue....$60 million. OU around $52 mil. That's more than any BIG team will make or ACC or PAC for that matter. TX and OU made more money this past year than any other teams in all of P5. TX ain't giving up the LHN to join another conference let alone want to play most of their games in the NOrth if it's the BIG..Not to mention open up their state to an entirely new conference recruiting wise. Tx and OU have seen what has happened to CU, Nebraska and A&M to an extent..

Tx destroys the big 12 and it will forever be the end of Tx football being relevant like it is in the big 12..Lastly, the best way for Tx and OU to make the playoffs is being in the Big 12..Does anyone actually think OU wants to join the SEC and compete with Bama, LSU, GEorgia, FLorida, Auburn every single year? Or compete with Tx, TCU and Okie st.?
