It's not a question of reliability, because he's not quoting sources. This is his speculation on where he thinks things
stand based on Boren's comments a couple days ago and based on the recent student gov resolutions regarding BYU and the LGBT issue. None of the big12 decision-makers are saying anything. Thamel's speculation may be logical, but there's a good chance that there is missing information in his calculations.
