Yep. He thinks he's putting two and two together (Boren's comments and LGBT student gov resolutions) and coming up with

four (BYU is toxic and the reason for expansion impasse and Boren's exasperation). He doesn't realize that he's missing some critical info, like what the Big12 presidents really think about the LGBT situation and/or what activities may or may not be happening behind closed doors regarding the issue.
