I'm saying what if the coaches know that due to all our weaknesses with the line, WRs etc...that the greatest chance for us to win is to have the QB in there that can take hits without getting broken, scramble and run it on broken plays due to a Swiss cheese line.
No doubt Tanner would do as well as Tanner could do under those circumstances...but what if that gets Tanner injured and thus the future of BYU is damaged before this freaking line and WRs can get there crap figured out?
What if these coaches are smart (which they most definitely are) and they are looking at the long term health of the program and not just today?
Tanner is the future. Do you not think they are smart enough to know that? Give them some freaking credit.
