playing on and the circumstances around them. Riley was not playing in a brand new offensive system with receivers confused about their routes and an offensive line that got patched together before the season using JC guys. An offensive line that was completely outmatched vs Utah and UCLA.
Taysom isn't blameless but I agree with Ty when he says he looked at the offense as a whole and people blaming Taysom for the struggles aren't seeing the whole picture and all the moving parts.
We obviously have to get better. And I think the WV game gave me some hope we will. Part of it is playing an easier team obviously but things definitely worked much, much better. The offense seems a lot more smooth and we were getting bigger chunks than in previous weeks.
