If it is not 4th down, which it was not, then it is not a bad idea to leave time
for two plays.
If the snap is bobbled, that allows the holder to throw an incomplete pass and still have time to try the kick again. This is how a football coach explained it to me, anyway.
Still, I have no problem with how Kalani managed it.
