Should have called timeout with six or seven seconds left.
It was third down. With a bit more time you give the holder the option of spiking the balk on a bad snap. With the clock at two seconds you don't have that option. The fans calling for an earlier timeout understood that and are actually the smarter fans. Kalani made a mistake running it down.
