Both QBs by the numbers
Mangum v Power 5 and Boise State last year: 6 YPA, 60 Adj QBR, 54.0% CMP
Taysom v Power 5 and Toledo this season: 6.5 YPA, 61 Adj QBR, 59.6% CMP
Look, I love Tanner. I know him personally and he's an amazing person. He's got a great future ahead of him, but the fact of the matter is that his best games came against really mediocre competition. By the numbers, they're both really close. Painting the picture that Tanner is a far superior passer is just simply not accurate. And when others say we'd be 5-0 with him starting, it's just downright ignorant.
Our coaching staff is smart and they know what they're doing. The entire team is behind Taysom Hill. That's enough for me.
