Five turnovers. Plus one turnover on downs. +2 unsuccessful field goals.

I feel like I should be happy about losing by 1 to a top 15 team on the road

Exactly how I felt. Plus the D giving up big yardage was also painful.

Yep, the only thing that would have been redeeming about last night would be to

Yes the D gave up 570 yards, but without 7 punts and 3 turnovers on downs, BYU

Biggest problems I had with the D is giving up big deep plays 3 times, and not

Yah, gives you sick feelings. Credit Boise, but at times, it felt like no one

Wow - if you're complaining about the D in that game - your expectations are too high.

So I have no right to complain about missed assignments? D did good that game,
cougaman
10/21/16 10:15pm
You have every right to complain - things weren't "perfect" - they never will be.

10/21/16 10:23pm
My worry is if the D is going to be able to fill those major holes they have,
cougaman
10/21/16 10:41pm
That's a good point - and I worry about it too. But I'll take giving up a few deep balls

Until we don't get the turnovers and give up 50 like Toledo and WVU

Very true - and when that happens, critiquing the Defense is very justified.

Both the BSU and Utah games were handed to us on a platter and we blew it

I'd fully support benching Taysom if he was the only position playing poorly. But he's not alone in season struggles

You think teams would for some reason not pressure Tanner like they are Taysom?

One way to find out. Blitzing is a risk against effective passing because it

The reality is - you just don't know this. Neither do the Tanner supporters.

Since the options are to guess or to know for certain, I "guess" most fans know coaches aren't omniscient.
