I agree it comes to the kid wanting to be at BYU.

BYU has had their pick of the litter for years when it comes to the Poly and LDS kids (and/or both), which is the reason the program is where its at.

Catholic kids don't have Notre Dame on their radar (because of their church affiliation), but Mormon kids have BYU on theirs for that reason.

Academic and moral restrictions are not the same thing. HC is a legit issue for nonLDS kids.
