Most who oppose the idea of joining the AAC, refuse to acknowledge that the schedules would really be fairly comparable as a member of the AAC as they are with Indy. They ignore the improved Basketball as well as opportunity to have guaranteed access to NY6 and a clear path to get there. They ignore the ability to be competing in a conference race in November. They simply don't want to be "associated with a lowly G5 league." What they don't realize is that nobody outside of BYU and it's fans cares about BYU. We are respected brand, but nothing more. That won't change as a member of the AAC.
With Indy we get 4-6 P5 Games, with AAC we get 3-4. It is not that different.
