To pretend we are not associated with G5 just because some conferences allowed their teams to schedule us, is living in a fantasy land. We were part of G5 for the past 100 years, and we continue to be rejected by P5 leagues. Until we actually get into a P5 league we will be consider a very strong G5 team, but not P5.

Here is the difference between our opinions, I believe it is far better to the be the best of the G5, then the worst of the P5 or even worse and independent nomad. I have more respect for the BYU's and Boise State's of college football, then I do for Arizona or Wake Forest or Indiana or any of the other P5 bottom feeders. If BYU could really be P5 I would take it in a heart beat. But until we actually can get into a P5 league, lets make the best of who we are.
