The names have changed but the sentiment is the same
There has never been a time when BYU was part of a big time conference. Sure the names have changed the the divide has gotten stronger and stronger, the point is for at least the past 40 years BYU has been on the outside of the Big Boys, prior to that they were too, but the Big boys were not as defined as today.
