I understand that point. I think the drops are a bigger deal than usual because we don't trust that Taysom can make the throw consistently to overcome drops. Tanner has a bit more of a gunslinger attitude and is more accurate. He might throw a couple more interceptions but will also throw more TD's.

I'm not going to pretend to know the reasons that Ty won't play Tanner--only that I'd like to see the kid get a shot. Our offense is so abysmal I think it goes beyond not understanding the offense. I think our entire team would be very understanding of giving Tanner a shot because he is HIGHLY respected among his teammates from last year.

I do think Ty may have been a little to forceful with his offense this season. He probably should have come in with more spread concepts so that the team could transition to his west coast and pro style concepts as they get used to it and gradually filter out spread.
