They can play if they schedule up and beat someone. They don't deserve to go over better teams just because they play in
a worse conference and don't play anyone.
Auto bids for G5 conferences would be a bad idea. But I also think auto bids for P5 conferences are dumb too. A 6 team playoff with no auto bids is the best idea IMO.
