You took one aspect of what I stated, "BCS" and that is all
You ignored the rest of what I said. I also never said it made them better than BYU. My actual point was more that they add a lot more to a P5 conference than a Iowa State, Purdue, Rutgers, etc. -- and arguably more than a team like Missouri that never won a Big 12 regular season championship in football or basketball.
