The B12 already distributes more dollars to its schools than the P12 and the B12 doesn't have a tv network yet. It's
the P12 who is geographically challenged. How do they get to 16?

The B12 was in the playoff last year despite the disadvantage of not having a conference championship game. P12 was left out. B12 also has two undefeated teams in the top 10 right now. P12 has one.

If I'm an AZ school and the B12 has a media deal then why not leave?
If I'm Nebraska and several of my largest donors have expressed regret about being in the B1G, then why not listen and see what kind of media deal the B12 can get and see if TX will agree to an equal split?

Listen to that terrible press conference on the 17th again, Boren referenced "media deals" - he didn't say "tv deals" -- it was a distinction that i think was deliberate because he has more info than we do...
Perhaps Apple tv has approached them about delivering content 5 years from now?

The truth is that we don't know what Boren found out over the last few months.
