I have been in 2 brawls at away games, and both with Wyoming fans.
Now I do have family that played there, and are huge fans. They all live in the Star Valley area.

But I've always believed no school hates us more. BYU/Utah and BYU/Hawaii is kind of a sibling rivalry. BYU/SDSU was like a cousin who teased you all the time. But Wyoming feels like a really angry neighbor that wants you out of the city, and will make sure you know it anytime you're within earshot.

The first brawl was in Laramie after a basketball game. You could feel the target on your back all game, and things went down after.

The second, I should probably explain that in my past, my group was pretty famous for being the drunk BYU fans who traveled to watch games. But we ran into a random group of Wyoming fans at a bar in the New York hotel, the night before we played Oregon in the Vegas Bowl. Don't really remember what was said, because it was only about 5 seconds after we all saw each other that tables were flipped and fists were flying. Who knows why they were there and in Cowboy yellow and... brown?

Now again, I know some upstanding Cowboys fans, but I've never seen a more aggressive and tangible hate out of any other school... and my old group is trying to get back together for this trip.

For what it's worth, I liked being treated like the evil empire every week in the MWC. I'm diggin independence, and like what we're doing. But there was a vibe back then that was really fun. I get it though... we had to grow up eventually.
