I've gone to games in both Laramie and C.S. (and Fort Collins). No comparison.
Air Force fans were nice and respectful. At worst, they'd ignore my friends and me.
Colorado State fans simply didn't care and didn't show up. But I didn't experience their fans during their heyday under their Sunshine quarterback.
Wyoming fans weren't as vile and crude as UNLV fans, but they were more vocal. The middle finger was prevalent. They weren't ant-Mormon, but they were very anti-BYU, for sure.
The only time I feared for my safety was at the Araujo punch game in Vegas.

I don't know any LDS that dislike BYU as an institution. In my experience, it's a portion of the Alumni that generate
