I just remember growing up watching BYU football games at stake center
I never heard much anti-BYU at church until I moved to MWC cities. It was a shock to hear members be so dismissive towards BYU and sports just exasperated it. I can understand supporting local school/alma mater...just not the pure contempt that so many have toward their Church's school. It was eye-opening.

I don't know any LDS that dislike BYU as an institution. In my experience, it's a portion of the Alumni that generate
