Would you send your son on a winter campout with the cold snap this weekend?

It is supposed to get to 26 degrees farenheit here in Florida. We have a boyscout campout set. Most likely their camping gear isn't ready for this cold. Now that is normal for the north but in context that would be like sending your kid on a winter camp where the temps were at or below zero.

Am I being a pansy if I cancel this?

We camped at -18 in Idaho in 10 feet of snow at elevation
