To me if someone thinks their dog is equal to a child it automatically makes me think that the person does not have enough intelligence to understand the difference. If they don't have enough intelligence to know the difference then it is best that they continue to think this way and continue with dogs. Worst thing possible is for them to then have children after not understanding that children are different than dogs.
