You're assuming that he doesn't own the home or that he has payments; It may be his to damage. You're assuming the teen has something to complain about. We don't know if they felt threatened or somehow unsafe. That's not necessarily the case. No mention was made of anger or threats. It's certainly possible to kick a door down while maintaining a calm demeanor. If you call to your kid and they arent answering from a locked room then how do you get in to check on them? The door or the window has to go. Could be as simple as that. No need to condemn. I'm guessing you've never had a teenager?
