Byu will never be an elite school with the continual online programs it offers

The Church just announced the expansion of BYU-Pathway Worldwide. When the Church's goal is to expand higher education to as many people as possible, the might as well increase enrollment at BYU also. They now have the room with the purchase of Provo High.

Sorry Harlem, BYU will never be an Ivy League school because it attracts Mormons looking for a cheaper solution to higher education. It has it's prestige which is higher than the other public schools in the state but equal to the U of Utah. But it's not going in the direction of Ivy League no matter how much you try to convince yourself.
