There's also his misconception that "senior QB" is some sort of guarantee on something. Hill wasn't close to your typical senior QB. Not close to the amount of time played, time spent practicing. Spent many off seasons with rehab instead of doing what one would normally do. Was on and off the field all throughout his career, with receivers coming and going over those years, never really developing chemistry. Then to top it off you throw them all into a brand new system. Nothing about what happened last year makes for a good indicator on what this year should be like. For starters, they'll actually have a QB developing chemistry with guys all year. That's just one aspect. Not to mention being a QB guys are more likely to trust and get behind.
