BYU receivers seem to have a difficult time getting any separation which makes it difficult to block because the QB's feel like they need to hold on to the ball longer. Having more speed on the edges can help compensate for an average line. The throws from the QB have to be spot-on every time because the throwing window is so small. I am not sure the yards after catch, but would be willing to bet that opponents last year had twice as many yards.
