...when Rose ran off those players most people felt they couldn't compete and needed to go. They were young and inexperienced. Coach replaced them with more young and inexperienced players who also couldn't compete. Same result, yet those former players are now experienced and more seasoned and (no surprise) starting to have success and be competitive.

Most incoming freshman need time to develop and learn the system. Most are not good right out of the gate and need a few seasons to mature. It will be no surprise to me if Beo and some of the others go on to have nice careers elsewhere. They might not set the world on fire but that's okay, every team needs good players filling roles (kind of like an Anson Winder or Skyler Halford) along with the stars.

If Rose continues this patter of losing his young bench players we will continue to see them become something successful down the road somewhere else and meanwhile our new crop of greenies will struggle on our bench until they leave too.
