the kind of atmosphere where many of us want to live, moderation makes CB a place where we want to talk. While I didn't need the HC telling me what to do, I was REALLY grateful after a bad experience at Utah State for the time I had at Ricks College not worrying about my roommates because I knew at a minimum they wouldn't be having sex in the bedroom, or alcohol in the fridge with porn on the tv. The HC created the kinds of apartment atmosphere where I wanted to live. Sure, hopefully good LDS saints should do this all anyway without the HC, but at USU I got into a contract with returned missionaries and it was sex and alcohol. Yuck.

Same with CB. Without moderation, this would become more of what we see in every other internet forum. I'm glad this place is moderated.
