Kilani was critical to the progression of Utah football. Tuiaki not nearly as much. Yes Norris and Paul were the best LB dou we've had in a long time. Paul came in because of Erickson but I'd bet money a big part of why Norris came was Sitake.
Who was Tuiaki so integral in bringing in? I think he is a great coach and will do a lot for you. But at Utah he just had to keep what Anderson started going. He didn't coach LBs. He wasn't the D coordinator. He coached tight ends and D line. He did great with both. He was easily replaced with coach Powell.
Sitake is a stud, a great recruiter, a great coach and a great guy. I think coach Pease was able to keep the D in line when he left but the jury is out on Morgan, though I think he'll be great. Kilani is a Huge part of why Utah's D is so good.
We just disagree on the role Tuiaki played
