The offense last year did him no favors professionally.
Having said that I would bet assurances were made to him that the offense would use him more in PNR to prep him for the NBA.
With his HS coach now running the offense I'm sure Mika knew the offense would be much better for his development.
When it comes down to it he was just ready to move on.
