What is so odd about my statements? The PAC has clearly stated they don't want
any religious institutions. They said as much when Baylor was floated. In a different decade if those leagues had expanded it would have been more likely to have BYU in a power conference than Utah. Are you disputing that? I am talking modern era not in the 50s where Utah was dominant but college football wasn't even comparable to now

Again, what good G5 teams has Utah played during that stretch. OOC records are meaningless without knowing what teams were played. I bet many of the SEC schools have similar or better OOC records because most of those teams rarely challenge anyone OOC. Baylor also comes to mind right off hand. Don't have the time to look it up.

Ohio St and Oklahoma have both had similar dominant runs against their rivals. As has Alabama over Auburn. USC over UCLA not many years ago. Oregon over Oregon St. Stanford over Cal. Miami over Florida St in recent history and vice versa. Notre Dame over Navy. Clemson over South Carolina. I don't know the exact records in those series but I know they have been one sided either currently or recently. I would also say that no rivalries have had as many close games as BYU vs Utah over the past twenty years

Don't know about BCS wins in those years but it looks like those years are cherry picked. The BCS started before 2003. Boise State had more high profile wins in that span. With all things there is a lot to that stat as yewts like to point out every time BYU beats a P5 team. "It was a down year." "They weren't any good." "They didn't care about beating BYU" etc, etc. How many of their wins were home games? Road? How good were the teams they beat?
