I still remember going to the gym at the MTC in late Aug and hearing the drums
It was about 7 a.m. and I got a little depressed because I knew it was gameday and I couldn't go. Say what you want, but nothing says college football like the sound of the drumline. I do wish the BYU band emphasized the drumline more and focused more entertaining.
I was on the field at halftime of a Florida A&M game, and that was the best halftime show I'd ever seen. The entire band was dancing like crazy, one of the trombone players even ripped his pants he was dancing so hard. After the performance you would've thought the band had played a game by how hard they were all sweating.
