Ty would go back to pass, hand off in a delayed handoff to Willis, and he'd be off for 10+ yards much of the time. Detmer had huge, strong offensive lineman to keep defenses at bay much of the time.

Right now....we DON'T have the personnel. We CAN'T keep teams honest if we can't run. Stuff the run, pin the ears back and blitz the pass. You HAVE to be able to run FIRST. No running threat, no pass. This is not difficult to understand. We don't have the lineman to open holes to run. We don't have the running backs to bust through the initial hole and go for 4, 5 or 8 yards. Therefore, we don't have time to even drop back to pass as our receivers have 2 seconds to get open...with DB's draped all over them at the line of scrimmage.
