I agree with your post and I would like to add that Ty has a great engine, but maybe more than not even having premium gas to put in the engine, I think he doesn't even have tires for the car the engine is in:)
I too was a high school coach for 12 years and I know what it is like trying to implement a system and not having the right guys.
I agree with your patience approach and I am confident KS and TD will get there.
I would like to add another comment: Your analysis shows what is wrong with college football and the transfer rules.
A new coach comes in and installs a new offense and suddenly some of the guys that may have had a position as a starter or significant backup no longer are a good fit for the new system and may never see the field again.
Why is it fair that a coach can change schools whenever he wants, yet a player who comes to a school because he believes he could have a place on the team can't change schools when the coach leaves? Just doesn't make sense. My son started his football career at BYU, but while on his mission his position coach left and when he came back, the new position coach didn't know him and didn't give him the time of day. My son transferred to another school but had to redshirt or he would have been the starter at his new school. Just isn't fair to players.
