It sounds like many fans are starting to miss a conference. I had

high hopes for independence. There was talk of byu being a mini notre dame. BYU is nothing close to ND. BYU as an independent is much more like Army and Navy. Navy decided it was best to get into a conference. There's a reason teams aren't leaving conferences to become independent.
