No, it is related to the pro rata clause. BYU might have been worth pro rata
But no one else would have been. IDK if BYU would have been additive or equal either, but ESPN was already getting us for a lot less money than they would have had to pay under the pro rata clause.
ESPN offered them $$ not to expand because of the pro rata clause. They took it. Who could blame them?
