It is in my blood. I will be a BYU Cougar fan forever.

Like so many others have said, cut me open and I bleed blue.  I have been a Cougar fan all my life - in all sports - but especially football. I grew up in Minnesota and Texas and currently live in Texas.   My life's goal (from age 7) was to run on the track team and wear the BYU uniform - which I did for 4 years in the early and late 1980s.  Even as a track guy, I loved the football team first.  Since graduating from BYU and moving around the country,  I rarely miss a game on TV and have for the past 20 years attended at least 1 game in person each year.   I might miss this year due to health issues with my wife, who is a converted BYU fan.  She graduated from the Univ. of Texas and was sadly disappointed in 1986 and 1987 when BYU won.  When they played Texas all these years later, however, she cheered for BYU.  We are and forever will be BYU fans!

As for other teams, we cheer for Texas, when not playing BYU, but don't make any special effort to watch their games on TV.  As we live in the DFW area, I don't pull for or really follow SMU, TCU  or North Texas.  When watching any college football game, I root for the team, that by winning or root against the team, that by losing - will most benefit BYU's ranking.
