The perception is BYU doesn't have the financial resources as SEC teams do, they play a weak
schedule, only naive Mormons cheer for BYU.

The reality is BYU is better off financially than half of the P5 teams. BYU doesn't get state
tax subsidies for their sports programs. That alone speaks volumes for their stability.

The schedule is weaker, but try to get big name programs to play them. The cards are stacked agaisnt
BYU.

Well yeah a lot of naive Mormons cheer for BYU. On the other hand there are a lot of non
Mormons who fell in love with BYU during the Lavell Edwards era, and remain faithful fans.
I know dozens of BYU fans who drink one of them hits close to home (but I won't mention his
name)

Right now BYU's biggest problem is not fans, money, scheduling--It's the fact they SUCK. Worse team
I've ever seen play. They suck big time-- but we still love and watch them
