totally disagree that Bronco inherited a rebuilding program...
...the bulk of the rebuilding had already been done and he inherited a team that was primed and ready to turn the corner, they just needed experience. In Crowton's last season they went 5-6 while playing the 11th toughest SOS and was an inch away from beating #14th ranked Boise St in Boise (a last second Matt Payne chipshot FG hit the upright and bounced away). Nearly everyone from that offense returned for Bronco's first season including a boatload of future NFL players on the OL, WR, TE, QB and RB including some of the very best to ever play their positions at BYU (Harline, Coats, Pitta, Beck, Watkins, Brown, Unga, Vakapuna, Tonga, Collie, Tahi, Feinga, Bright, Reynolds, etc).

Bronco inherited a stacked team.
