Very familiar with Guide to the Markets. And the every day investor does do bad

through the FULL market cycle. We havent seen the full market cycle yet. We have been in a bull market for nearly 8 years now, about twice as long as historical expansions.

My problem was not with the 2% information, I was more highlighting the fact that he said he hadnt met many people whos returns were very good in efforts to try and pitch an awful investment vehicle.
