Went to bed last night and fell asleep at about midnight. Almost as soon as I fell asleep, I felt a burning in my forearm. I popped up and knew something got me. My wife jumped out of bed too (she has been stung about seven times) and we started going through the pillows and sheets. Sure enough, there was an 1.5" scorpion on the side of the bed.

I got a glass and trapped it and flushed it down the toilet.

My left arm is tingling and almost completely numb and I am starting to feel the numbness in the tips of my ears. There is even numbness in my mouth because I can feel it when I take a drink.

Honestly, the stung is not even that bad. It's just so freaking unnerving to be stung while sleeping in my bed. My wife and I both slept on the couch last night and I wonder how long we will be out there.

Scorpions are the devil!!!
