I'm not sure why he wouldn't

The NBA gets it's stars right away, Ben Simmons, Lonzo Ball, the kind of guys that really didn't need college anyway. The other guys go into college and come out more refined and mature, makes drafting them less risky. Puts less pressure on the league to further the D League which will never generate much profit for the league.

What would be the argument against it?
