I’d argue this actually hurts programs not getting the one and done players.
It means less overall talent in college basketball and less talent trickling down to programs like Gonzaga, Butler, BYU, SDSU, et cetera. The elite will continue to be elite, and they’ll get the guys who might have slipped to lower-tier programs.
